Custom characters are characters specially made to fit your style, unlike the existing characters provided by Toonit Studio. You can create characters in your desired art style and design in 3D, effectively reducing the time and costs for existing artists.

🎨 1. What is a custom character?

Webtoon creators have their unique art styles and character designs, but drawing every scene by hand can be time-consuming and expensive.

Navatar is a custom 3D character solution that solves this problem. Based on hand-drawn 2D characters or concepts in your desired style, we can convert them into 3D characters with Toonit-specific rigging.

The completed characters can be used freely for pose settings, expression adjustments, and camera direction, just like other regular characters in Toonit Studio.

🛠️ 2. You can also use externally created characters!

If you already have 3D characters, you can simply adjust the rigging and format according to the production guide provided by Toonit, and those characters can be imported and used in Toonit Studio as they are.

This guide is organized to allow external creators to easily apply it according to Toonit's asset structure and compatibility standards, as well as the rigging system.

🧾 A. Custom-Made Characters (Full Custom)

• The user directly presents the concept (2D design, personality, purpose, etc.).

• Toonit conducts the entire production and delivers the final character with rigging applied from Toonit Studio.

• It's a high-end custom option that allows for full setting, including backgrounds, outfits, and poses.

• Recommended for: Artists who have their own art style. Artists who have constraints to complete content before a short deadline. Artists who have no experience in 3D.

🗂️ B. Standard Production Characters (Self-Guided Custom)

• Create characters directly based on the production guide document provided by Toonit.

• Just organize the rigging and format according to the guide to import and use the character in Toonit Studio.

• Recommended for: Artists with rich experience in 3D and their own art style. Artists who have constraints to complete content before a short deadline.
